How can I get Fenugreek seeds?
I am looking at tomato ripening and I want to use your assay method to detect the presence of ethene.

The ethylene response should work with any seeds; we selected Fenugreek mainly because they grow very quickly indeed and are large enough to enable comparisons between different treatments within a short period of time.

Fenugreek is a spice which is a component of curry powder. You can therefore buy seeds (which are viable) from wherever you can buy spices, but especially from a stall specialising in Indian Spices.

The experiment should work with mustard seeds.
