What is the number of species of plants (including vascular and non-vascular) on Earth?

Here are some figures from experts in the field:

Bryophyta (Bryopsida): 14,000

Ferns and allies: 12,000

Flowering plants: 250,000 - but many more sub species / hybrids etc

There are probably many more waiting to be described.
